B. Foster

First things first, I am very blessed to have had Mrs. Sherri and Mrs. Helen grace our presence for the last 6 weeks. Without them, what my boys have accomplished would not have been possible. “They are the BEST!”

My boys Jacob and Carter have been in Title 1 since they began Pre-School. My boys have learned more about reading with the Reading Window Program in the last 6 weeks than I ever could have imagined. Jacob and Carter’s fluency, recognition, and expression has come into full bloom. The greatest moment was listening to my boys read… and see their eyes light up and they look at the picture and then me, and laugh. To finally understand and comprehend what they had just read…  SIGH… There is NO other word to explain what I was feeling than “AMAZING”.

Jacob and Carter absolutely HATED reading. Jacob would hide his face and would not talk to me. He completely shut down. Carter on the other hand, would pretty much throw a temper tantrum. It was awful when homework had to be done. I’ll tell you what… It sounds so good to hear my Jacob and Carter reading. They both now enjoy reading so much. For them to just understand “WHAT” they were reading… this moment is PRICELESS!

I would highly recommend this program to anyone. Especially if you have a child who needs just that extra little boost or help in reading. The Reading Window Program has helped my boys in all areas of their school work.

If your child says “I hate to read” this is the program for him/her. My boys would always tell me “I don’t want to”, “I hate reading” but now their comments are “when can I come back?” How great that was. Because of Reading Window those words “I hate reading” are HISTORY..

Now that Jacob and Carter have completed their 6 week program, the ladies will be greatly missed. This has been an amazing journey for my entire family. They now read every day, twice a day. And we owe that to the Reading Window. So now we will move on, and we greatly appreciate everything that we have gained from this experience. Many thanks to all at Reading Window.

Sincerely,

B. Foster
