My name is Mary and the Reading Window has become a real blessing for my 2 sons, Robert and Gregory. I was dyslexic and a very slow reader and I know how important reading is. I am a single mother and would have not been able to get my boys the help they needed without the assistance of Reading Window.

After my boys started the Reading Window there was a great improvement in their reading and self-esteem. It has also made me a lot more patient and it is now very enjoyable to do homework and reading with them.

The tutors are excellent and very patient. I am thankful for the ReadingWindow.

In just 6 weeks, children struggling with reading become happy, enthusiastic readers! Their skills improve at least 1/2 year's worth. Our tutors work one-to-one with a child, while also empowering a parent or guardian to help the child reach success. Each session consists of 30 hour-long lessons. Our methods build self-confidence and increase comprehension while we all have FUN! Need-based scholarships are now available through a grant from the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation.
