Dear Piper,
I am writing to update you on my son Todd’s progress. He is doing very well in school. He knows all of his letters now. He knows all of his letters in capital and lower case. He knows what sound each letter makes. We have worked on beginning and ending sounds. For example, he can look at a picture and tell you what letter the word begins with and ends with. If you show him a picture of a bed he knows that bed begins with b and ends with d. He still has some difficulty with vowel sounds. We are working on the different sounds that vowels make. For example, the letter e makes a different sound in bed than it does in be. He can sound out three letter words very well on his own. I feel that Todd has greatly benefited from your Reading Window program. He breezes through his homework with very little effort. We continue to read and I am amazed to find that Todd knows quite a few words without my help. I am convinced that he will be ready to enter first grade reading on his own. Thank you again for working with us.
