My daughter, Gabriel, has been reading with Piper Martin since September/early October of this year. In the relatively short time they have been working together, I’ve seen dramatic improvement in Gabriel’s reading skills, other academic areas and in her self-esteem. Her word-attach skills, fluency, and comprehension skills have markedly improved. This evidenced in her school work by better grades. She is currently being evaluated to determine whether she will be able to advance to the next reading level. I’ve been very pleased with her improvement in reading but, just as importantly, I’m pleased to witness a boost in her self-confidence.
Last year, Gabriel received remedial help for reading through the school system yet I saw little evidence of progress. Working with Piper one-to-one has made a tremendous impact. Piper’s reading system works and she is a valuable asset to the school and community! I feel my family has often overheard others’ favorable comments of her reading program when I’m at school.
